요한복음 / Johannes Evangelium / John 10:7-15
그러므로 예수께서 다시 말씀하셨다. “내가 진정으로 너희에게 말한다. 나는 양들을 위한 문이다. 나보다 먼저 온 사람은 모두 도둑이고 강도다. 양들은 그들의 말에 귀를 기울이지 않았다. 나는 문이다. 누구든지 나를 거쳐서 들어가는 사람은 안전할 것이다. 그는 들어오고 나가며 넉넉한 꼴을 얻을 것이다. 도둑은 오로지 훔치고 죽이고 부수려고 온다. 그러나 나는 모든 사람이 삶을 얻고, 그 삶을 마음껏 누리게 하려고 왔다. 나는 선한 목자다. 선한 목자는 양을 위하여 자기 목숨을 바친다. 그러나 삯꾼은 다르다. 그는 목자도 아니고, 양도 제 양이 아니므로, 늑대가 오는 것을 보면 양을 버리고 도망간다. 그러면 늑대가 양 떼를 덮쳐서 양들을 뿔뿔이 흩어지게 한다. 그가 도망치는 것은, 삯꾼이어서 양들을 걱정하는 마음이 조금도 없기 때문이다. 나는 선한 목자다. 나는 내 양을 알고, 내 양은 나를 안다. 그것은 마치 아버지께서 나를 아시고, 내가 아버지를 아는 것과 같다. 그리고 나는 양들을 위하여 내 목숨을 바친다. 

Da sprach Jesus wieder zu ihnen: „Wahrlich, wahrlich, ich sage euch: Ich bin die Tür zu den Schafen. Alle, die vor mir gekommen sind, die sind Diebe und Räuber; aber die Schafe haben nicht auf sie gehört. Ich bin die Tür; wenn jemand durch mich hineingeht, der wird gerettet werden und wird ein- und ausgehen und Weide finden. Ein Dieb kommt nur, um zu stehlen, zu schlachten und umzubringen. Ich bin gekommen, damit sie Leben haben und es in Fülle haben. Ich bin der gute Hirte. Der gute Hirte lässt sein Leben für die Schafe. Der Lohnarbeiter aber, der nicht Hirte ist, dem die Schafe nicht gehören, sieht den Wolf kommen und verlässt die Schafe und flieht; und der Wolf raubt und zerstreut sie. Der Lohnarbeiter aber flieht; denn er ist ein Lohnarbeiter und kümmert sich nicht um die Schafe. Ich bin der gute Hirte und kenne die Meinen, und die Meinen kennen mich, wie mich mein Vater kennt und ich den Vater kenne. Und ich lasse mein Leben für die Schafe. 

Therefore Jesus said again, “Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. All who have come before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep have not listened to them. I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. The hired hand is not the shepherd and does not own the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it. The man runs away because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep. “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me - just as the Father knows me and I know the Father - and I lay down my life for the sheep.
